August 28, 2009

Just wanted to remind everyone of the gathering on 8/28. We are planning on meeting at Mariah's at Noon for lunch and then going to a Theme party at the dorm. The girls have worked really hard on this year's Theme performance so you'll be missing out if you don't attend.

Recruitment Schedule 2009

Hello all!

I wanted to invite you to a run through of our Theme and Preference on
Monday August 24th at 5:30 in the chapter room. We have new
decorations this year, and they look great, we can’t wait to show
them off. Also, the girls have been working really hard and
everything looks fabulous, I feel very confident in saying we will
have yet another strong recruitment week. Please come by and watch
our preview for you all and give any feedback you want.

Also, if anyone is available Friday (August 28th) night to help take
down Theme decorations and put up Preference decorations, please let
me know soon. Again, we have new decorations this year so it will not
take nearly as long as it typically does.

If you want to donate any money to go towards food the week of rush,
let me know please.

Here is a master schedule for the week of recruitment, feel free to
come by anytime:
Monday August 24th

o Party 8: 9:25 – 10:10

 Bid Session directly following parties

Saturday August 29th
 Preference Parties from 1:00 – 6:00

I will need anyone available and willing to meet me (I will announce
location later) around 7 or 7:30 to count/tally the girls choices and
compile the FINAL bid list to submit. Last year we had about 8 alum
counting and it took us about 2-3 hours. We have a better system now,
so hopefully if we get more help we can get it knocked out pretty
quickly.

Thank you all for all of your help! Feel free to call me or email me
with any questions or concerns. We are really excited!
