Chaney's Dairy Barn

The BG alumnae chapter held their meeting at Chaney's Dairy Barn. It was wonderful to see some familiar faces and exciting to welcome some new people to the chapter.

Thank you for being a part of the Bowling Green area alumnae chapter! We are excited to kick off the 2009 season with our first meeting at Chaneys Dairy Barn for an ice cream social and an orientation pertaining to our expectations and goals!

Bowling Green Chapter Operations $10

TOTAL $35

However Life Loyal Members do not pay operating fees to HQ making

WKU Recruitment 2009

Fall recruitment starts Wednesday August 26, 2009
FRIDAY AUGUST 28th we will be meeting for lunch at Mariahs at Noon and follow up with a visit to watch one of the AOII theme parties.

SEPTEMBER EVENT

The way philanthropic events work for the collegiate chapters has changed since we were there! This year the AOII collegiate chapter along with Kappa Alpha Order will be sponsoring a Montgomery Gentry Concert at Diddle Arena September 17th ! Details will follow on definate time but as support the Alumnae Chapter will be first meeting at Double Dogs for dinner and attending the concert together to support Arthritis Research!!! More information will be coming in the next week! Tickets are $20

OCTOBER EVENT

We are currently taking suggestions for this months activity

Ideas include WKU Ghost Walk

Late night private pottery painting session at The Paintn Place

BG 10k training team for the Halloween BG 10k Classic!

WKU HOMECOMING

WKU homecoming this year is November 7, 2009. Our alumnae chapter has reserved the upstairs room at 440 Main in downtown Bowling Green as a meet and greet location for the night before! Come and invite any AOII alumnae for our event on November 6 starting at 8pm until 10pm! It will be a great informal event with a cash bar and appetizers!

We hope this alumnae association will be to your fullest benefit as a networking opportunity and a way to reconnect or get to know better other area alumnae!

If you have any events that you find important and would want to participate in with other sisters please speak up! We hope this club will be a place all feel welcome and not cater to a specific age or lifestyle of just a few members but a chapter as a whole!
